About

Meet the Firm

Our Story

Charles River Law Partners LLC specializes in all aspects of residential and commercial real estate. We also provide advice and representation to clients in a wide range of civil disputes, adoption, and family formation. The Firm’s practice areas also include corporate work spanning entity selection and formation, mergers and acquisitions, financing, contract negotiation, and the acquisition and divestment of corporate assets.

We opened our doors in 2015 as a collaboration between attorneys Christopher W. Vaughn-Martel and Donald H. Angus, Jr. Both Chris and Don operated successful law practices in Boston for nearly a decade prior to teaming up, with the goal of better serving their growing and dynamic client bases. Together, we offer more than three decades of legal experience, prudent judgment, and substantive knowledge in litigation and transactional practice.

Our attorneys are appointed by courts as title examiners and receivers, conduct trainings and seminars in their various practice areas, and provide representation as contract counsel with the Massachusetts Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM). Our attorneys have received honors for pro bono work and advocacy in the community, and were named "Rising Stars" in Boston Magazine's list of Super Lawyers in 2009, 2016, 2017, and 2018. We draw on our collective strengths and experience to offer sound advice, creative legal strategies, and zealous advocacy for our clients.
